Job Overview:
The Store & Inventory Manager will oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and stock management to ensure seamless supply chain processes. This role requires a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional who can optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and maintain accurate stock records while adhering to industry compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
✔Maintain accurate inventory records (raw materials, packaging, finished goods) using ERP/WMS systems.
✔Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and batch tracking for cosmetics/skin care products.
✔Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
✔Manage warehouse layout, storage conditions (temperature-sensitive items), and safety compliance.
✔Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
Store Operations:
✔Oversee dispatch and receipt of goods, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
✔Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and hygiene standards for storage.
✔Handle returns, expired/damaged goods, and disposal per company policies.
Reporting & Process Improvement:
✔Generate inventory reports, aging analysis, and stock turnover metrics.
✔Identify cost-saving opportunities (reducing obsolescence, minimizing overstock).
✔Recommend automation tools/process upgrades for efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Hard Skills:
✔Proficiency in inventory management software (ERP, SAP, WMS).
✔Strong data analysis, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and reporting skills.
✔Knowledge of cosmetic/skin care inventory regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO).
✔Experience in demand forecasting and supply chain coordination.
Soft Skills:
✔Detail-oriented & organized – Ensures accuracy in stock tracking.
✔Problem-solving – Resolves stock discrepancies swiftly.
✔Team collaboration – Works with cross-functional teams.
✔Time management – Prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced environment.
