Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and creative R&D Executive – Cosmetics to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative cosmetic formulations that align with global trends, regulatory standards, and client expectations. This role requires both technical knowledge and a passion for creating exceptional personal care products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and formulate new cosmetic products including creams, lotions, serums, face masks, cleansers, and more.
• Conduct stability and compatibility testing to ensure product quality and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and marketing.
• Analyze raw materials for suitability and compatibility in formulation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, test results, and product revisions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, ingredients, and regulations in the cosmetic industry.
• Assist in scaling formulations from lab to production scale.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, FDA, and international cosmetic regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Additional certifications in cosmetic formulation or dermatological sciences are a plus.

Hard Skills:

• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation techniques.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes.
• Understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory guidelines for cosmetic products.
• Experience with formulation software is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation.
• Experience working in a private label or contract manufacturing setup is preferred.
• Exposure to international cosmetic standards (e.g., EU, US FDA) is beneficial.
