Job Summary:

HCP Wellness Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of skincare, cosmetics, and oral care products, is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee and optimize the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other essential supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and inventory control, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

✔Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a seamless supply chain.
✔Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for raw materials, packaging materials, and third-party services.
✔Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.
✔Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials to optimize procurement costs.
✔Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies.
✔Work closely with the R&D, production, and quality control teams to align procurement with product development and manufacturing needs.
✔Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock.
✔Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
✔Analyze and report on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

✔Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
✔Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of procurement experience in the cosmetics, skincare, oral care, or pharmaceutical industry.
✔Strong knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging materials used in skincare and cosmetics manufacturing.
✔Expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
✔Proficiency in ERP software and procurement management tools.
✔Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.) in the cosmetics industry.
✔Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
✔Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

✔Experience working with third-party manufacturers and contract manufacturing.
✔Knowledge of global sourcing trends in the cosmetics and personal care industry.
✔Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CIPS, etc.) is a plus.
