We are hiring a Product Development Coordinator (Cosmetics) to manage complete cosmetics product development, formulation coordination, NPD activities, sample development, client requirements, ingredient selection, and R&D communication.

The ideal candidate should understand cosmetic formulations, skincare actives, raw materials, product innovation, manufacturing process, private label development, and be confident in coordinating between clients and R&D.

As part of HCP Wellness, you will work across our entire product manufacturing portfolio:
Skincare Development: Face wash, face cream, serums, face gels, sunscreen, toner, scrubs, face masks.
Haircare Development: Shampoo, conditioner, hair serum, hair oil, hair spa, leave-in blends.
Body & Personal Care NPD: Body wash, lotion, deodorants, soaps, hygiene products.
Oral Care Development: Herbal toothpaste, gel toothpaste, whitening pastes, mouthwash.
Home & Hygiene Formulations: Hand wash, sanitizers, cleaners.

You will support clients, R&D chemists, design, production, QC, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of every new product concept.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate end-to-end cosmetics product development and sample creation
* Understand client requirements for skincare, haircare, personal care & oral care products
* Translate customer needs into actionable briefs for the R&D formulation team
* Manage timelines for sample development, revisions, ingredient selection, stability testing
* Assist in identifying trending cosmetic actives, molecules & formulations
* Provide clients with detailed product information, formulation details, benefits & usage
* Ensure samples match product expectations for texture, fragrance & performance
* Track all updates through NPD sheets, CRM tools & development trackers
* Coordinate packaging requirements – containers, tubes, bottles, jars, labels
* Communicate clearly with clients for approvals, feedback & modifications
* Support production teams during pilot batches & pre-production runs
* Regularly research market trends, cosmetic ingredients & high-demand formulas
* Work with QC & QA teams to verify formulation quality and compliance
* Manage pricing information, MOQ, lead times & technical documentation
* Assist in preparing PIF details, COA, documents required for exports
* Support the sales team in new leads, product pitches, technical clarifications
* Maintain excellent communication to ensure smooth client collaboration
* Interact with procurement team for raw material sourcing & vendor coordination
* Assist in artwork, packaging development & final product readiness

Skills Required
* Knowledge of cosmetic formulations, ingredients & product development
* Understanding of skincare actives, haircare molecules & cosmetic raw materials
* Strong communication for client coordination & requirement understanding
* Ability to manage multiple projects in NPD / formulation development
* Basic R&D awareness, cosmetic science background preferred
* Comfortable interacting with clients and explaining product specifications
* Good knowledge of Excel, CRM, NPD tracking tools
* Strong follow-up, documentation & problem-solving skills
