Position Overview
We are seeking a Flavor Specialist to join our Cosmetic & Skincare Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and refining flavor profiles for skincare, lip care, oral care, and cosmetic products, ensuring they meet market trends, regulatory requirements, and brand expectations.

Key Responsibilities
✔Develop, evaluate, and refine flavors for skincare, cosmetics, and oral care formulations (lip balms, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.).
✔Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams to ensure flavor integration aligns with product goals and brand identity.
✔Conduct sensory evaluations, stability testing, and compatibility studies for new and existing flavors.
✔Maintain awareness of flavor trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products in the cosmetic and personal care industry.
✔Work with suppliers to source, test, and approve new flavor ingredients and technologies.
✔Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (FSSAI, BIS, IFRA, etc.).
✔Prepare detailed documentation for formulations, trials, and sensory test results.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Hard Skills:
✔Expertise in flavor creation, sensory evaluation, and formulation integration.
✔Strong knowledge of flavor chemistry and raw material interactions in cosmetic and oral care products.
✔Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for flavor usage in cosmetics and oral care.
✔Proficiency in sensory analysis tools and formulation software.

Soft Skills:
✔Creativity and innovation in developing unique, marketable flavors.
✔Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
✔Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
✔Attention to detail with a passion for quality.

Education / Certifications:
✔BSC, MSC/ Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Perfumery, or related field.
✔Certification in Flavor Chemistry / Sensory Science will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience:
✔2–5 years of experience in flavor development for cosmetics, skincare, or oral care products.
✔Experience working in R&D departments of FMCG, cosmetic, or personal care companies.
