Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious ITI Boiler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of boilers and related equipment. This role is critical to supporting our manufacturing processes and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Operate and monitor boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance.
✔Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of boilers and related systems.
✔Troubleshoot and resolve boiler-related issues to minimize downtime.
✔Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
✔Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
✔Monitor water quality, pressure levels, and fuel consumption to maintain efficiency.
✔Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and upgrades.
✔Suggest improvements to enhance boiler performance and safety.
Qualifications:
Hard Skills:
✔Proficiency in operating and maintaining boilers and related equipment.
✔Knowledge of boiler systems, safety standards, and maintenance practices.
✔Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
✔Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (preferred but not mandatory).
Soft Skills:
✔Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
✔Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
✔Time management and the ability to work under pressure.
Education/Certifications:
✔ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Boiler Operation or related trade.
✔Valid boiler operator license or certification as per local regulations.
✔Additional certifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
✔1–3 years of experience as a Boiler Operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
✔Experience in the skincare, cosmetics, or FMCG industry is preferred but not mandatory.
✔Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety standards.
