Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and implement safety regulations, environmental compliance, and workplace health programs at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have expertise in risk assessment, incident management, and regulatory compliance to maintain a secure and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

✔Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and compliance programs in alignment with industry and legal regulations.
✔Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
✔Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, and other safety and environmental standards.
✔Implement waste management, pollution control, and energy conservation initiatives.
✔Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
✔Conduct training programs on occupational safety, hazardous material handling, and emergency response for employees.
✔Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous substances used in cosmetics and skincare manufacturing.
✔Monitor air, water, and chemical exposure levels to ensure a safe working environment.
✔Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and environmental agencies for inspections and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
✔3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
✔Strong knowledge of EHS laws, hazardous material handling, and environmental sustainability programs.
✔Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is preferred.
✔Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety documentation.
✔Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
