Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fragrance & Flavor Specialist to join our R&D team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing fragrance and flavor profiles for cosmetic, skincare, and oral care products that meet market trends, regulatory standards, and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Develop, modify, and evaluate fragrance and flavor compositions for skincare, cosmetics, and oral care formulations.
✔Collaborate with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to align scent and taste profiles with brand positioning.
✔Research global trends in fragrances and flavors to inspire innovative product development.
✔Conduct sensory evaluations, stability testing, and compatibility studies for fragrances/flavors in various product bases.
✔Maintain technical documentation, formula records, and regulatory compliance reports.
✔Manage supplier relationships and source high-quality fragrance and flavor raw materials.
✔Ensure compliance with IFRA, FDA, BIS, and other applicable standards.
✔Provide technical support during pilot trials and scale-up production.

Qualifications & Skills:
Hard Skills:
✔Expertise in fragrance creation, blending, and evaluation techniques.
✔Knowledge of essential oils, aroma chemicals, and natural extracts.
✔Experience in oral care flavor development and masking agents.
✔Understanding of formulation science for cosmetics, skincare, and oral care.
✔Knowledge of regulatory standards (IFRA, ISO, BIS, FDA).
✔Proficiency in sensory evaluation methods.

Education & Certifications:

✔3–7 years of experience in fragrance and/or flavor development within the cosmetics, skincare, or oral care industry.
✔Proven track record of launching successful fragrance/flavor profiles in commercial products.
✔Experience working with global and Indian suppliers.
