Job Summary:

HCP Wellness is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee operations at our cosmetic and skin care manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in cosmetic and personal care manufacturing, and a deep understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire manufacturing process for cosmetic and skin care products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet business demands.
• Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO, and regulatory compliance in all production activities.
• Optimize workflows, processes, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
• Supervise and lead production staff, quality control teams, and maintenance personnel.
• Collaborate with R&D and new product development teams to introduce innovative formulations and improve existing products.
• Monitor inventory, raw material procurement, and supply chain operations to prevent production delays.
• Maintain safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, machinery breakdowns, and quality concerns effectively.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
  5+ years of experience in factory management, preferably in cosmetic, skin care, or personal care manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements in the cosmetic industry.
• Experience with production planning, process optimization, and cost control.
• Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in cosmetic manufacturing (mixers, filling machines, packaging lines, etc.).
• Proficiency in ERP/software systems for manufacturing and inventory management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple production lines and ensure timely delivery of products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
• Experience in third-party/private label manufacturing.
• Knowledge of formulation techniques and raw material selection for skin care and cosmetic products.
