Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive EHS Officer to develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety programs in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of EHS regulations, risk management, and industrial safety standards to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

✔Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and compliance programs in line with government regulations.
✔Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
✔Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 14001, OSHA, and other relevant industry standards.
✔Monitor and improve waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
✔Investigate and report workplace accidents, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
✔Conduct EHS training sessions for employees on workplace safety, hazardous material handling, and emergency response.
✔Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals used in skincare and cosmetics manufacturing.
✔Collaborate with management to implement fire safety, PPE requirements, and workplace ergonomics programs.
✔Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors for inspections and certifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or Occupational Health & Safety.
✔3-5 years of experience as an EHS Officer in a cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing industry.
✔In-depth knowledge of industrial safety regulations, environmental laws, and hazardous material management.
✔Familiarity with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), pollution control norms, and fire safety regulations.
✔Strong skills in incident investigation, risk assessment, and EHS documentation.
✔Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is a plus.
✔Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
