Job Overview
We are seeking a Fragrance & Flavor R&D Specialist to lead the development of unique and appealing scents and tastes for cosmetic, skincare, and oral care products. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with technical expertise, ensuring formulations meet regulatory standards, market trends, and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities
✔Develop and customize fragrance and flavor profiles for skincare, cosmetic, and oral care products.
✔Collaborate with the R&D, marketing, and product development teams to align formulations with brand vision.
✔Conduct stability testing, sensory evaluations, and quality assessments to ensure product consistency.
✔Source and evaluate raw materials, essential oils, aromatic chemicals, and flavoring agents.
✔Stay updated on global fragrance and flavor trends and incorporate innovative concepts into new product lines.
✔Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (IFRA, ISO, BIS, FDA, etc.).
✔Maintain accurate formulation records, testing reports, and technical documentation.

Hard Skills
✔Strong knowledge of aromatic chemistry, essential oils, and flavor science.
✔Proficiency in formulation techniques for cosmetic, skincare, and oral care products.
✔Understanding of sensory evaluation, stability testing, and product safety compliance.
✔Familiarity with global fragrance and flavor regulations.
✔Analytical and problem-solving abilities in product development.

Soft Skills
✔Creativity and a strong sense of olfactory and taste profiling.

Education & Certifications
✔BSC, MSC/ Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Flavor, or related field.
✔Certifications in Perfumery, Flavor Chemistry, or Cosmetic Formulation (preferred).

Preferred Experience
✔3–8 years of experience in fragrance and/or flavor development in the cosmetics, skincare, or oral care industry.
✔Proven track record in launching successful product lines.
✔Experience working with international fragrance houses or flavor suppliers is a plus.
