We are looking for a Fragrance Specialist & Flavor Expert to join our R&D team and contribute to innovative, high-performance formulations for skincare, oral care, and beauty products.

Job Summary:
As a Cosmetic R&D Fragrance Specialist & Flavor Expert, you will be responsible for developing unique fragrance blends and flavors that align with brand positioning, regulatory requirements, and market trends. You will work closely with formulation chemists, marketing teams, and manufacturing units to deliver sensory experiences that delight consumers.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Develop and evaluate fragrance compositions for skincare, cosmetic, and beauty products.
✔Create flavor profiles for oral care formulations (toothpastes, mouthwashes, etc.) that meet taste, stability, and safety requirements.
✔Collaborate with the formulation team to ensure fragrance and flavor compatibility with product bases.
✔Conduct sensory evaluations, stability testing, and application trials for fragrance and flavor integration.
✔Research and analyze market trends, raw materials, and new technologies in fragrance and flavor development.
✔Work with suppliers to source high-quality fragrance and flavor ingredients.
✔Ensure compliance with IFRA, ISO, and regulatory guidelines for fragrance and flavor usage.
✔Maintain accurate records of fragrance/flavor formulations and evaluation reports.
✔Support the marketing team with storytelling and positioning for fragrance/flavor launches.

Qualifications & Skills:
Hard Skills:
✔Expertise in fragrance formulation for cosmetics, skincare, and personal care.
✔Knowledge of flavor creation for oral care products.
✔Familiarity with aroma chemicals, essential oils, and natural extracts.
✔Understanding of regulatory standards (IFRA, ISO, FSSAI for oral care).
✔Sensory evaluation and product testing skills.
✔Proficiency in fragrance/flavor selection software and analytical tools.

Soft Skills:
✔Strong creativity and olfactory sensitivity.
✔Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
✔Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
✔Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Education & Certifications:
✔BSC, MSC/ Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Flavor, or related field.
✔Certifications in Perfumery or Flavor Development (preferred).

Preferred Experience:
✔3–7 years of experience in fragrance and flavor development for cosmetics and oral care.
✔Proven track record of successful product launches involving fragrance and/or flavor innovation.
