Job Overview:
We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Fragrance Specialist to join our R&D team. The role involves developing, testing, and refining fragrance formulations for skincare and cosmetic products, ensuring alignment with brand identity, consumer preferences, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with formulators, marketing teams, and production units to deliver captivating, stable, and compliant fragrance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Develop and refine fragrance blends for skincare and cosmetic product lines.
✔Conduct sensory evaluations and stability testing to ensure long-lasting scent performance.
✔Collaborate with product development teams to match fragrances with brand concepts.
✔Ensure compliance with IFRA guidelines and other cosmetic fragrance safety standards.
✔Maintain detailed technical documentation, including formulation records and regulatory reports.
✔Source and evaluate fragrance raw materials from approved suppliers.
✔Analyze fragrance performance across different formulations, packaging, and storage conditions.
✔Keep updated on fragrance trends, innovations, and consumer preferences in the beauty industry.

Qualifications:
Hard Skills:
✔In-depth knowledge of fragrance chemistry, raw materials, and scent composition.
✔Understanding of olfactory families, fragrance stability, and sensory profiling.
✔Familiarity with analytical equipment (e.g., GC-MS) for fragrance analysis.
✔Strong knowledge of IFRA standards, cosmetic regulations, and safety compliance.
✔Experience in working with emulsions, gels, and other skincare bases.

Soft Skills:
✔Creative thinking and an eye (and nose) for detail.
✔Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Education & Certifications:
✔BSC, MSC/ Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Perfumery, or related field.
✔Certification in Fragrance Development or Perfumery (preferred).

Preferred Experience:
✔3–6 years of experience in fragrance formulation for cosmetics or skincare.
✔Proven track record of successful fragrance launches.
✔Experience working with global fragrance houses or R&D labs.
